The majority of released prisoners return to live with family members. This transition is often both joyous and challenging.  Positive family support is critical for release success and a key variable to reduce recidivism. Family focused re-entry programs like mentoring and family support sessions, help strengthen family ties and maintain rewarding, productive and loving relationships.
