Parents don’t stop being parents when they are in prison, but it certainly is more challenging. Families in Crisis offers programs to help offenders embrace and fulfill their role as parents while they are in prison and after they are released. 

Parenting programs for mothers in prison

A program for incarcerated women with children to learn new ways to be better mothers. Counseling and case management are provided inside the prison as well as in the community to prepare mothers to successfully participate in the lives of their children and families.

Parenting programs for fathers in prison

Incarcerated fathers learn to be better dads. Counseling and case management are provided inside the prison as well as in the community to prepare fathers to successfully participate in the lives of their children and families.
