Honor and memorial gifts – This is a thoughtful and caring way to honor or remember a loved one and at the same time help others.  Recipients or their family members will be notified of your generosity with a special card.

A gift is appropriate for many occasions:
•to honor someone special or a good deed
•in memory of a loved one
•to celebrate a birthday, anniversary or holiday

Matching gifts – Many corporations will match an employee’s gift to charitable organizations.  In addition, some companies provide donations to organization where their employees volunteer.  Imagine the increased impact your gift can make.  Please contact your human resource department for more information.

United Way – You can also choose to support Families in Crisis through a contribution to the United Way through donor choice.

Host an event - If you are interested in hosting an event to benefit Families in Crisis please contact Stacie Nicholas, Development Director.

Legacy gifts - Most people require some kind of help at some time in their lives, whether it’s physical, financial or spiritual. During life’s struggles, we are often reminded that more must be done to sustain programs that help others.  When you make a bequest or other "planned gift," you will continue to help Families in Crisis for years to come.

What better way to thank the people or organizations that have had an impact on your life than to make a contribution from your estate through a bequest?  Gifts large and small are important. Legacy giving is not only for the wealthy!  Please consider Families in Crisis when making your long term estate plans.  Learn more at Leave a Legacy
